On 1/07/21, Senator Steve Erdman of Bayard introduced LR 11 CA/LB 133, the EPIC Consumption Tax.
This legislative package eliminates Nebraska's current tax structure and replaces it with one consumption-based tax, eliminating confiscatory taxes on both property and income.
Last year we ended the 106th Nebraska Legislative Session without advancing LR 300 CA out of the Revenue Committee. This year Sen. Erdman has re-introduced the constitutional amendment resolution with a companion implementation bill, LB133.

The State of Nebraska has announced new rules for email testimony this year. If you want your email testimony to become part of the hearing record, you must submit testimony to email@example.com, with the words, "Please include my comments in the public record."
