History of Our Profession
CAPIC AND IMEDA JOINTLY INVITE YOU
TO A FREE WEBINAR ON THE HISTORY OF OUR PROFESSION
Did you know:
- it all started in 1996 with a lawsuit by the Law Society of British Columbia against immigration consultants? The case went all the way to Supreme Court of Canada.
- This is our second shot of being recognized as a profession If we don't get it right, we might be a history by the next year. The Minister will be reviewing the 5 year mandate of our regulator.
- It is important that we know our the past of our profession as we face the challenges in the future.
6 panelists were invited to talk about the history and to bring to you the reality of the long struggle towards a creation of a new profession. We encourage every new RCIC to log in on December 13, 2016 or watch a recording that will be posted on both CAPIC and IMEDA websites.
If you are unable to log in on December 13, a recording will be available shortly after! Let's work to ensure that every RCIC is informed!
