Here's What Happened At Our 7th Annual Children's Champion Luncheon

On April 25th, Work-Family Resource Center hosted its 7th Annual Children's Champion Luncheon at the Forsyth Country Club. 

Work Family Resource Center presented Florence Corpening and John Gillon with the 2017 Donna Lambeth Children's Champions Award.  It was so special to hear Florence speak about her board service at WFRC and to hear John speak about being our very first client and sharing a photo of his daughter who is now an early education teacher in New York - what a full circle moment!

The keynote speaker for the event was Maurice "Mo" Greene, Executive Director of Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation.  His comments centered around early education being the foundation and future of our community.   
We would like to thank our sponsors, donors and attendees.  WFRC raised $15,000 to support tour mission of enriching child care programs, engaging families and enhancing our community.

Looking for Child Care Financial Assistance?

WFRC offers scholarships to assist families with children ages 
0-5  years, who are not able to afford the full cost of child care.  Families are encouraged to apply.

We currently have a waiting list in which all wait-list families will be contacted to discuss next steps as funds become  available. Get ahead  of the  curve and   apply today .
