🥙 If you are ordering food for lunch for your student from an outside vendor, please have it delivered by 11:30 AM - this will ensure your student has a chance to eat before classes resume.

⏰ New early Pick-Up information:
- If you need to pick up your student for an early dismissal, we are requiring pick up to be BEFORE 3:00 pm. To avoid classroom disruptions, we will not dismiss any students between 3:00 - 3:30 pm.
- Please text Mariella Brown at 720-828-6132 with the time you will pick up your student for the early dismissal so we can have them ready.
🚗 Carpool and Absence Reporting:
- On Monday, you will be receiving an email from SchoolPass which will allow you to put your student in the carpool of your choosing, add drivers, and report absences.
- Steps to access/use SchoolPass:
- Find email on your computer/laptop.
- Follow the prompts to reset the password given in the email. Usually, a temporary code will be shown.
- Download the SchoolPass App on your cellphone.
- Use credentials to log in.
- To change carpool/report absence: Press the "+" button at the bottom of your screen and either select carpool or absence (reason needs to be given) and follow the prompts until you see "submitting" and "success" pop up. Multiple days can be selected per change.

Key Dates and Events

February 4th - Valor's Winter Art Show 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
- All CCA families are invited to see students' art on display, including traditional and digital media throughout the hallways of the Valor Arts Center.
- Free admission and refreshments are available.

February 13th - Individual and Class pictures. All students must wear their navy polo on this day.
- Aside from class pictures taken this day - this is also for students who need retakes ( please email [email protected]), those who were absent during our fall picture day, and new students.

February 14th - Valentine's Day ❤️ and Bison Grams (more information below)
- In lieu of class parties, CCA encourages students to bring a decorated box or bag and valentines for each of their classmates and teachers. Classroom rosters will be handed out by each teacher. Healthy, non-candy options are preferred.

Trainer: Deputy Sean Heidman (A.K.A. "Officer Sean"), CCA SRO
Course Description: The digital parent academy will cover digital addiction, social media, cyberbullying, internet predators, and various risks inherent to kids using digital devices.

February 23rd - Winter Snow Day - Ski/Tubing Trip.

We look forward to making memories in the snow with the families that have signed up for our winter adventure day! The sign up for our Frisco tubing and sleigh afternoon will close on Monday. Please submit your RSVP’s with the number of tickets your family will need to [email protected]. The ski day at Breckenridge sign-up has been closed. We hope to see you there!
