He was 93 years old. He was predeceased in 2011 by his wife of 58 years, Dr. Rosalie H. Smith.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 19, at 12:30 p.m., in the Sanctuary at The Emanuel Synagogue, 160 Mohegan Drive, West Hartford, followed by burial in The Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery, 1361 Berlin Tpke., in Wethersfield. To view the funeral on Livestream, CLICK HERE.

Following interment, the family will return to The Emanuel Synagogue to greet visitors for a meal of condolence.

Members of the family will attend The Emanuel evening minyan at 5:45 p.m., on Thursday, and also Friday evening and Saturday evening services. They will hold shiva visitation at The Emanuel on Sunday, starting at 3:00 p.m., and then they will attend the Sunday evening minyan at 5:45 p.m.
