She would have been 90 years old on May 18. She was predeceased by her husband, Myron Freed.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 16, at 11:00 a.m., in the Sanctuary at The Emanuel Synagogue, 160 Mohegan Drive, West Hartford. Burial will follow in the Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery in Wethersfield. CLICK HERE for Livestream link for the funeral service.
Following the burial, the family will greet visitors at the home of Elyse Darefsky, 291 Castlewood Drive, Bloomfield, until 6:00 p.m., with minyan at 4:30 p.m. Shiva continues on Wednesday, from 5:30-7:00 p.m., at The Emanuel Synagogue, with minyan at 7:00 p.m., at the synagogue.
Memorial donations may be made to the Adult Education Fund at The Emanuel Synagogue, 160 Mohegan Drive, West Hartford, CT 06117 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
