SIDEWALK CAFE APPLICATIONS
Now is the time to turn in those Sidewalk Cafe Applications for the 2017 year! Sidewalk café season begins on March 1st, and ends on December 1st. Sidewalk Café Permits have a 9 month term, and must be applied for, and issued, every year. The sooner the better in order to assure you can set up your cafe at the beginning of the season.

RECAP OF EMPLOYEE LAWS WORKSHOP 
We had a great Employment Law Workshop with our local business members this last week. Our presenter, Kimberly A. Ross, is a recognized authority in employment law. Some topics included the Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act, earned sick leave, the Illinois Human Rights Act and much more!
