Knights of Columbus dedicates statue

The Saint Vincent Pallotti Council of the Knights of Columbus, of Saint Leo the Great Church in Little Italy, donated a statue of the founder of the Order, Father Michael J. McGivney, during Mass and ceremony March 26. Pictured left blessing the statue is Father Bernie Carman, pastor of Saint Leo's. The statue is the only one with a permanent place inside any church in Maryland. The Knights funded this project and Father Bernie graciously accepted the gift on behalf of the parish and community, in recognition of the Council's support.
