benefit held for Madonnari Arts Fest
The Kohler Signature Store in Little Italy hosted 'A Taste of Italy' fundraiser January 25 to benefit the Madonnari Arts Fest held each fall. Pictured are the Klugs (left) and the Mazzullis. The event, which included a delicious night of food, wine, art and music, was organized by Cyd Wolf who heads the Madonnari Arts Fest with her husband / business partner, Germano Fabiani; proprietors of Germano's Piattini in Little Italy. Artists from MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art) were creating at their easels during a happy hour setting. Madonnari Arts Fest is scheduled for September 7-10, 2017 along the streets of the neighborhood, with many Little Italy restaurants participating.

ways to help the ravioli effort

Your willingness to volunteer for Saint Leo's is what makes it possible for the parish to host the twice-annual Ravioli Dinners. Don't miss out on the FUN!

Ravioli-making sessions:
Saturday, February 11
Saturday, February 18
9 am
These two sessions need many hands to help produce the 13,000 ravioli needed to serve during the March 5 dinner.

Meatball-making session:
Saturday, March 4
9 am
This session produces the approximate 5,000 meatballs for the March 5 dinner. Come roll with us!

The three sessions are set up in the School Hall on Stiles Street next to the bocce courts. All are welcome; experienced volunteers will teach you the process. No reply is needed. Merely show up with hair tied back and preferably covered. Wear an apron and bring a ravioli tool if you have one. A complimentary pasta lunch is served.

DINNER VOLUNTEERS: Many needed for waitstaff, busing tables, coffee servers, Big Wheel volunteers, tray carriers, salad makers, raffle sellers, and other positions. Volunteer hours: 11:30am (11:15 for waitstaff) until approximately 6 pm. A second shift of tray carriers is for 2-6 pm.

DONATE SWEETS FOR CAKE WHEEL: Cakes, pies, cookies and other baked goods are needed for the Cake Wheel. Drop off in the parish office during business hours the week before the March 5 dinner, or bring to the School Hall on the day of the dinner.
