Bill Addressing Food Insecurity among DC Seniors
It's been reported that DC has the sad distinction of being No. 1 in the US for food insecurity for seniors. The DC Council is considering legislation to address food insecurity among older adults -- No Senior Hungry Omnibus Amendment Act of 2021 proposes a comprehensive approach to addressing senior hunger in DC.

On February 14, the Committee on Housing will hold a hearing on the “DC No Senior Hungry Omnibus Amendment Act of 2021” (Bill B24-0419.)

An overview of the proposed legislation and information on how to testify can be found on DC Greens website.
