Our first "pre-meeting" will be Feb 28 at the Ward III office, beginning at 5:00PM. Our Safety Committee will be meeting with CSO HInthorne with specific questions about reporting, data collection, and homeless encampment protocol.

TEP again - Proposed Routes through JP
Park, Vine, Lester, Linden, Warren
| |
|
No other neighborhood in Tucson has so many "proposed" segments for the yet-to-be-determined routes in the TEP's Midtown Reliability Project. Three of these segments have been added since the last iteration, despite the work neighbors and the underground coalition have done, asking that no poles enter neighborhoods. As of this date, the proposed Vine Substation remains almost at the corner of Lester and borders Vine, right at the edge of the neighborhood. Its location will bring lines into and exiting from Jefferson Park. Any 138kV lines that are planned for our area should be underground and not at our expense.
