Our Neighborhood Watch program continues to grow, thanks, in part to
Officer “Lobo”, our Weapon of Crime Destruction!
This year, we are expanding Neighborhood Watch beyond our residents, to our business community. This week, we facilitated an active shooter presentation to more than 20 employees at the Napa Valley Casino. Later this month, we will be facilitating a discussion on Human Trafficking to front desk staff from the three hotel properties in our community.
We hope to continue to grow our Neighborhood Watch program in both our residential neighborhoods, as well our our business community. For residents, you can sign up for neighborhood watch bulletins and information

. We also ask that residents with surveillance cameras add their address to our list by registering

. That way, if a crime happens in your neighborhood, we know to contact you and ask for your permission or assistance to view your footage. Crime prevention works! Through Neighborhood Watch, our police department forms partnerships with the community to both prevent, and solve, crime. Together, we make American Canyon a great place to live, work, and shop.

Citywide Neighborhood Watch Meeting/Training
We hold bimonthly Citywide Neighborhood Watch meetings which include training on various topics related to crime prevention. Our next meeting is Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at 6:30 PM, Via Bellagio Park (100 Via Bellagio).
Everyone is welcome to come, you don't have to live in the immediate neighborhood.
Free childcare will be available at the playground. There's a rumor that Lobo loves to play at the park too, and since his birthday is this month we'll have some special treats to celebrate!
