WELCOME! | May 2026
As summer approaches in Vero Beach, it is the perfect time to prepare coastal homes for the season ahead while soaking in everything that makes this time of year feel so special. Warmer days and the start of storm season bring friendly reminders to check shutters, freshen up outdoor spaces, and get your home ready for the coastal elements, all while sea turtle nesting season quietly begins along our shores, a true sign that summer is on its way. May also gives us plenty to celebrate, from Memorial Day and honoring those who have served and given the ultimate sacrifice, to the rare treat of two full moons in one month lighting up our coastal skies. World Bee Day offers a small but meaningful reminder in the day of how vital these tiny pollinators are to the food we enjoy every day. Living here means embracing both preparation and appreciation, where caring for your home goes hand in hand with enjoying the lifestyle around it. And long after the keys are handed over, we are always here as a trusted resource to help you navigate every season with confidence.
| | The Food Pantry of Indian River County is a volunteer-driven lifeline for local families, turning generosity into real impact every single day. Operating from donated church space, over 90% of all contributions go directly toward food - stretched even further through strategic bulk purchasing with the Treasure Coast Food Bank and local grocers. In 2025, the Pantry provided more than 380,000 pounds of food, delivering over 325,000 meals to neighbors in need - more than half of whom are children and seniors. Serving roughly 50 households a day, five days a week, the Pantry continues to meet a growing need across the community. Every donation helps put food on the table for those who need it most and makes a meaningful difference right here at home. Read more about their cause here! | |
