WELCOME! | October 2022

October kicks off the FOODIE SEASON with tailgating eats and Halloween treats. Seems there's a national holiday for every food out there. "Bologna!" you say...that holiday is October 24th so why not fry up a slice and enjoy.

Our Florida Fall foliage may not be as beautiful as up north but we still have leaves to rake and piles to make. Speaking of which, here's a little fun taste of playing in the leaf piles courtesy of Stella the white Labrador.

October also begins a season of giving. The AMAC | Alex MacWilliam Real Estate family of agents are known and admired for their community involvement all year long through volunteerism, funding, and support of numerous local non-profit organizations, student scholarships, and schools. Over $1.5 Million dollars have been donated and tens of thousands of hours volunteered by agents, management, and staff to numerous, local charitable organizations since 1949.

Statistics developed by the REALTORS^®Association of Indian River County through its Multiple Listing Service and in conjunction with Florida REALTORS^® reflect the following for Year Over Year AUGUST 2022 vs. 2021.

SINGLE-FAMILY DETACHED HOMES

Residential Closed Sales totaled 278 homes vs. 309 representing a 10% decrease YOY.

Median Price was $379,000 vs. $345,000 representing a 9.9% increase YOY.

Active Inventory totaled 758 vs. 420 representing a 80.5% increase YOY.

CONDOMINIUMS

Residential Closed Sales totaled 71 homes vs. 77 representing a 7.8% decrease YOY.

Median Price was $225,000 vs. $210,000 representing a 7.1% increase YOY.

Active Inventory totaled 185 vs. 123 representing a 50.4% increase YOY.
