Review of Nemo's Losi 3p Tent...
by Joanne Kennedy, Lead Buyer

We just returned from a raft trip on the Green River through Ladore Canyon in Colorado and Utah.  The scenery was absolutely stunning, the air was warm, the sun hot, the water refreshing and clear, the company good, and the food great.  Not much more to wish for.  It was a great adventure and very relaxing trip.

This was the inaugural trip with our new tent, the NEMO Losi 3P.  It is a roomy, airy and comfortable tent.  We found pitching it to be very easy and fast.  First we clipped the footprint under the tent to the "Jake's foot corner anchors" (very easy) and staked out the corners.  Then we slipped the ends of the two main poles into their sockets at the corners, and simply raised the tent by clipping it to the poles.  Adding the small over-the-door poles gives the tent lots of shoulder room.  The fly clips in at the corner anchors, and that is it.  Fold back the two large vestibules for wide door openings and wonderful cross ventilation, or stake down the vestibules for protection.  You can use just the fly, poles and footprint to create a tarp structure too.

The airy ventilation was great for the hot nights, and in the rain with the vestibules staked out we had no problem staying totally dry including all of our stuff pushed against the sides of the tent.  The large space between the tent and fly made condensation a non-issue. The nifty gear caddy is handy for all those little things, and the roll-up style stuff sack is great with a place for every component.

We love the tent.  It is easy to pitch and take down, and is roomy, airy and light.  It caused quite a bit of interest among our rafting partners.  It also comes in a two person size.
