Nest Heartbeat

This is Yvonne. Yvonne is nonverbal and uses communication switches with her head movement. She is also dependent on her wheelchair to assist with her head control. Despite her limited vocalization, she is extremely social by participating in conversations by active listening and with a large smile! In the past, Yvonne has tried Adaptive Rock Climbing but the limited head support in the harness didn't create confidence that she wanted to try again. She was excited to hear that the new harness with head support has been delivered finally and will be available for her next climb! She is excited to join the class again on the next Adaptive Rock Climb.
