2024 was another productive year for our network! Remaining cognizant that our over-arching goal is to improve the nation’s oral health by improving the knowledge base for everyday clinical decision-making and moving the latest evidence into routine care, much was accomplished! For example:
An additional study was successfully launched in 2024 (Periodontal Adjunctive Antibiotics Study). We plan for its baseline phase to be completed in August 2025.
Study resultswere published in 13 peer-reviewed scientific publications in 2024, with another 4 accepted for publication. This is a large number. These publications were in highly-regarded, peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Practitioners continue to be highly successful in Network studies and numerous other Network activities (e.g., presentations, publications, committees). We always encourage practitioners to share their experiences, such as in our Network newslettersand blog. Please consider communicating your experiences in 2025.
Please see our “2024 Publication Highlights” below for key results from individual studies!
With many presentations and publications from our current and recently-completed studies planned for the coming year, 2025 will be another exciting year. Thank you for making it happen!
