Network Study Compares Root Canal Patients by Provider Type

A recent Network study shows that endodontists treat more-complex molar cases and patients with higher education, while general dentists see more patients with advanced periodontal diseases and prescribe more antibiotics. Pain, stress, and demographics also vary between groups—insights that could improve referrals and patient care.
