JFS Somerset, Hunterdon & Warren Counties Commemorates the Memories of Holocaust Victims
Jewish Family Service of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties lead a community-wide Daffodil Project effort.The Daffodil Project aspires to build a Living Holocaust Memorial by planting one and a half million daffodils around the world to commemorate the one and a half million children who were senselessly murdered in Nazi occupied Europe and in support of children suffering in humanitarian crises in the world today.  Learn more here .
JFCS Minneapolis to Celebrate 10th PJ Library Birthday
PJ Library, a program of Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Minneapolis’ , will be celebrating two major milestones on Sunday, Nov. 11 – its 10th birthday, marking the 10 years the program has been in Minneapolis, and the delivery of its 100,000th free book! 
$1 Million Donation Increases Agence Ometz’s Mental Health Services
One of Agence Ometz 's most vulnerable and overlooked populations will now have better access to mental health services thanks to a generous $1 million gift from Miriam Aaron Roland. The newly established Miriam Aaron Roland Social Service Fund will allow the Ometz Community Mental Health Department to greatly expand its services, alleviate growing waitlists and serve an additional number of clients with mental illness. JFS Detroit to Benefit from the Sale of Bequeathed Home
When Jewish Family Service of Detroit learned of philanthropist Margaret Demant’s passing
in May, the agency also learned it was the recipient of her final act of generosity; the longtime

JEVS Human Services Awarded TD Ready Challenge Grant to Support College Access Initiative
Thanks to the generosity of TD Bank and its Ready Challenge, JEVS Human Services received official word of a grant to launch a new college access initiative. JEVS was selected as one of only 10 North American applicants for a grant of about $750,000. JEVS' program will provide an accessible, flexible, affordable, and practical opportunity for individuals to attend and succeed in employer-driven degree programs, preparing them for the real demands of the workplace.  Learn more here .
