FIELDSTONE@4

Hosted at Visions Museum of Textile Art, Fieldstone@4 took place on June 13th. Our "Leadership Living Room" was full of inspiring art and guests were treated to a personalized tour of Latine Entretejida/Interwoven, a World Design Capital 2024 designated program that was on exhibit during our event. The tour was given by Visions Executive Director Katrina Bruin, who is a current participant in our Executive Coaching Program.

Our thanks to Trevor Blair and everyone at Blair Search Partners for their sponsorship of our gathering.

Our next Fieldstone@4 is September 25th from 4 to 6 pm at New Village Arts.

Guests enjoying the exhibition

Thank you to Blair Search Partners for its sponsorship of Fieldstone@4. In appreciation, we presented the Blair Team with a piece of art from Visions Museum of Textile Art with our gratitude for its long time support of our leadership community. The handmade wool vessel represents our work of holding space.

Kristen Burrell was our raffle winner. She went home with a Darn It Doll, a handmade piece from Visions Musuem of Textile Art.

Clare Rose Sabbatical

We gathered on June 10th for an orientation with our 2024 Clare Rose Sabbatical Recipients. It was a time of rich fellowship and learning as we laid out our work together for the year ahead. We anticipated sabbaticals for both Solana Center and Karen Organization of San Diego to take place in Spring 2025. We welcomed Don Stump as our new consultant for the program. Don took a Clare Rose Sabbatical in 2018 so he is uniquely positioned to support our grantees to get the most out of this capacity building program.

Eat. Sleep. ENJOY SABBATICAL. Repeat.

As part of the orientation, a gift basket was presented to each grantee to help them celebrate and prepare for their sabbatical. The basket included books, a journal, luggage tags, a celebrate stone and this fun t-shirt.

RESOURCES FOR YOU

To assist nonprofit organizations in efforts to identify board members and diversify their governing boards, we offer the Nonprofit Board Exchange™a community resource to publicize openings on local nonprofit boards and supply information on available trainings for those who serve in this important role.

Prospective and current board members can use this site to look for new board openings and for training opportunities in San Diego County.

The Nonprofit Resource Exchange San Diego is a place for nonprofit organizations to ask for what they need and to offer what they have to other nonprofit organizations.

The Nonprofit Resource Exchange San Diego is built on the value of reciprocity with the goal of sharing resources to help the nonprofit sector as we all work together to lead our teams, serve our clients, re-imagine how we work, and sustain our organizations for the future.
