Fieldstone@4 - Holiday at the Theatre!

We’re filled with gratitude after gathering with so many of you at our final Fieldstone@4 of the year. What a special way to close out 2025 with connection, conversation, and celebration among our nonprofit community.

To our entire network: thank you. Whether you were with us at the event or supporting our work from afar, your commitment to learning, leadership, and collaboration continues to make Fieldstone such a vibrant and meaningful community.

A special thank-you to everyone who joined us in person. Your presence, your energy, and the way you show up for one another truly shaped the afternoon. And we extend our deepest appreciation to Bill Schmidt and all the team at Cygnet Theatre for hosting us in their stunning new space. Their warm hospitality and the behind-the-scenes experience made the gathering especially memorable.

We also would like to give a special shout out to Will Keith, founder of St. Claire's Cookie Dough for filling the air with the sweet smell of freshly baked cookies during the event. Will baked cookies to share throughout the event and we were able to give everyone their own cookie dough to take home so they can enjoy some of Will's wonderful cookies at home with their friends and families this holiday season.

As we look toward a new year of learning, growth, and connection, we’re grateful to carry this momentum forward together. Thank you for being part of Fieldstone and for helping us close out the year with such warmth and community.

Giving Thanks to our Coaching Team

Recently, our coaching team came together for a special Thanksgiving-themed floral arranging workshop. All year long, Fieldstone coaches help plant seeds of confidence, inspiration, and innovation in their coachees. To express our gratitude for their dedication, we invited them to enjoy a morning of creativity and connection while making something beautiful. It is amazing what a little flower arranging can teach you about leadership!!

In partnership with Network member Lucy Eagleson of ARTS, whose family owned and operated Rosemary-Duff, we spent the morning at the ARTS building for some hands-on fun. We are grateful to ARTS for hosting us and to Lucy for her partnership, which made it possible to bring our coaches together to celebrate the season and the meaningful work they do.

2026 Learning Groups & Coaching Program are full!

All of our learning groups and our coaching program are officially full for 2026! Thank you for trusting us with your time, energy, and leadership journey, and for choosing to be part of our growing nonprofit learning community. We can’t wait to begin this year of connection and growth together.

More information will be going out shortly to all of our Learning Group members and our coachees should have already been contacted by their Fieldstone Coaches. Your first meet and greet meeting should be completed by January 6, 2026. Please mark your calendar for our January 7th orientation.

Keep an eye out for an announcement introducing the newest members of these Fieldstone Leadership Network programs! Its an impressive group!!

Fieldstone Earns “Top-Rated” Recognition from GreatNonprofits for the Sixth Consecutive Year

We are proud to share that Fieldstone Leadership Network San Diego has once again been named a Top-Rated Nonprofit by GreatNonprofits, the leading platform for community-sourced stories about nonprofit impact. This marks our sixth year in a row receiving this honor, and it is especially meaningful because it comes directly from the voices of those who know our work best.

GreatNonprofits amplifies the experiences of clients, donors, volunteers, partners, and beneficiaries—those who see nonprofit impact up close. Their stories help others discover trusted organizations and support causes that matter deeply in their communities.

Our Top-Rated Badge is earned exclusively through the thoughtful reviews submitted by our Network Members. Their reflections on how Fieldstone’s programs, coaching, and community have shaped their leadership and strengthened their organizations are both humbling and inspiring. We are grateful to everyone who took the time to share their experience.

Your stories not only affirm our mission—they help others understand the power of a connected, supported, and inspired nonprofit sector.

You can read the reviews or share your own on our GreatNonprofits page:

Thank you for being part of the Fieldstone community and for helping us continue to serve nonprofit leaders with excellence.

Our last Career Exchange of 2025 will be sent on December 19th. It will resume on January 9th.

As we close out another year, we want to take a moment to extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to everyone who is a member or has supported the Network. This year has brought significant challenges for the nonprofit sector, but it has also highlighted our collective ability to remain adaptive, collaborative, and committed to serving our community despite the obstacles in our path. We have been continually inspired by your leadership, both as professionals and as individuals.

One of the greatest blessings of leading the Fieldstone Network is staying connected with you and the incredible work you make happen across San Diego. We are in awe of the sector’s resilience and the way we turn to one another in times of need, ultimately creating something together that is greater than anything we could have built alone.

This year, we have focused on garnering your feedback so we are best able to address the sector's needs going forward in ways that matter and are most needed. 2026 will be a critically important year for us at Fieldstone, and we have worked hard to ensure that our slate of offerings in the new year will provide meaningful support to you as a nonprofit leader and a whole person. We believe we have a continuum of programs that will uplift your leadership, enhance your wellbeing, and strengthen your connections to your colleagues.

For some much-needed rest and recharge, the Fieldstone office will be closed from Monday, December 22, through Friday, January 2. We will return on Monday, January 5, 2026 to kick off a brand-new year!

Wishing you a joy-filled and peaceful holiday season and a happy new year!

With gratitude,

Janine & Becky
