Call for Mardi Gras Sponsors & Silent Auction Items!

Now in its 24th year, the Chamber's Mardi Gras event has been one of the best winter parties in our community! Each year, hundreds of guests enjoy a catered meal featuring creole dishes, a silent and live auction, music, games and much more. Monies raised from the event help fund college scholarships, promote business and economic development, provide business communications, referrals, and networking opportunities in and around our community.

The 2026 event will take place on February 21st at Prairie View Reception Center in Chatham. Click on the graphic below to download a PDF of the flyer and sponsorship form, or go online to chatham-il-chamber.com/mardi-gras-community-celebration.

Chatham Chamber Scholarship Applications are Open!

Each year, the Chatham Area Chamber of Commerce awards scholarships to three local graduating seniors. The students receive a $1,000 scholarship to be applied to the college or university of their choice.

Applications are judged on a combination of academic achievement, volunteer work experience and future goals. To qualify, high school seniors must:

  • Reside in Sangamon County
  • Be either employed by a Chatham Area Chamber member, or their parent/guardian must be employed by a Chatham Area Chamber member. Not sure if the employer is a member of the Chatham Area Chamber? Just ask the business, or go online to the Chambers website to check our member roster.

The goal of the Chamber Scholarship Program is to promote business

within the community. All applications must be submitted by Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Senior may apply online, or download and print the application and return it to the Chatham Area Chamber of Commerce, 106 E. Mulberry St., Chatham, IL 62629.

It's Time to Purchase Your Luncheon Punch Card!

The Chatham Area Chamber hosts 10 luncheons annually, at a cost of $20 per luncheon. Please note that the Chamber will keep your punch card on file, and will have it available at each luncheon you sign up to attend.

Click on the link at the left and fill out the form if you'd like to purchase a punch card online. You may also pay by check - just mail or drop off your check to: 106 E. Mulberry St., Chatham, IL 62629.
