Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon | |
The Chatham Chamber's Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony, presented by INB, N.A., took place on August 21st. The Chamber welcomed our incoming Board members who will be seated in September: Amy Byers, Chatham Area Public Library; Tracy Formea, Formea Insurance Group; Becca Lamon, Ball-Chatham School District; Zach Thornton, Crowne Plaza; and Marcie Williams, The Tap Room, are slated to serve two-year terms. Becca Lamon will serve as President of the Chatham Chamber beginning in September.
In addition, there were three awards given:
Tim Welch from Bank of Springfield, Chatham Banking Center, won the President's Star Award; Birth to Five Illinois: Region 51 won the Business Excellence Award for Nonprofit of the Year; and Chatham Collision Repair won the Business Excellence Award for For-Profit Business of the Year! CONGRATULATIONS to all our award winners!
Finally, thank you to: Prairie View Reception Center for hosting our luncheon in their beautiful facility; Fulgenzi's Catering for our delicious lunch; Emerson Press for printing our Annual Report and luncheon agenda, and Doghouse Creations for crafting our award winners' plaques!
| Back to School Vendor Fair Aug. 22 | It was wonderful to see the following Chamber members take advantage of the vendor fair on August 22nd at Glenwood High School: Birth to Five Illinois, Chatham Jaycees, Titan Fuel, the Chatham Police Dept., the Chatham Area Public Library, Sylvan Learning Center, Family Service Center, and the Abraham Lincoln Council - Boy Scouts of America. Any Chamber member or Chamber Golf Outing sponsor is welcome to donate items or materials for our Golfer bags. These bags are given to each of the estimated 144 golfers who will be joining us on September 11th.
Please deliver items to the Chamber office (106 E. Mulberry St. in Chatham) during office hours, M-F: 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., or T-Th: 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.).
You may also drop items off at The Tap Room, 104 E. Mulberry St. (10 a.m. to midnight, each day of the week), or Formea Insurance Group, 512 S. Church Street in Chatham (8 a.m. and 5 p.m. M-F).
We will accept items until Thursday, August 28th.

The 2025 Chatham Area Chamber Golf Outing, presented by Big Dog Construction, is now sold out of Corporate Sponsorships, and can also no longer take registrations for foursomes and/or individual golfers. We have created a waitlist, however, and if you'd like to be added to that, email director@chatham-il-chamber.com.
