Dear SNIS Members,

SNIS continues to work diligently for the benefit of our membership. To that end, SNIS has once again partnered with The Neurosurgery Executives’ Resource Value and Education Society (NERVES) to perform the "2026 Neurointerventional Physician Compensation and Productivity Survey". Again this year, we are excited to welcome our colleagues from SVIN to the survey.

Members of NERVES, SNIS & SVIN desire to create benchmarking data such as salary, wRVUs and call pay for physicians in their practices who focus on neurointerventional work. We need everyone to join together and complete this simple survey. We may expand the survey in future years, but what we really need is a large number of participants. We limited the number of questions and the complexity in hopes that everyone will participate.

The Joint NERVES and SNIS/SVIN 2026 Neurointerventional Survey Report will be available at NO CHARGE to NERVES and SNIS/SVIN members who complete this joint Neurointerventional Survey and available for purchase for those who do not submit their data. Neurosurgery practices that employ neurointerventionalists should report data for those providers for both the NERVES Survey and the Neurointerventional Survey. Neuroradiology and Neurology-based practices should submit data only for the Neurointerventional Survey so we create a comprehensive data source.

Please note the following when completing the survey:

1. You will need to open the linked Excel file for the Joint NERVES and SNIS/SVIN NeuroInterventional Survey and save it to your hard drive/network. Please save the file as "NeuroInterventional" plus the name of your practice (if you receive any messages regarding compatibility of formatting, please click "continue" and proceed with saving the file as is). You can then complete the survey at your convenience in different stages if you wish to do so. Simply re-save your changes each time you enter new data.
2. Please work with your practice administrator to complete the survey and submit only ONE SURVEY PER PRACTICE.
3. Please complete the survey questions as completely as possible to the level of detail which you have available. Please refer to the instructions when completing the survey.
4. If you have questions about the survey, please e-mail Katz, Sapper & Miller (NERVES@ksmcpa.com). After you have completed the survey questions, please e-mail your completed survey Excel file to NERVES@ksmcpa.com no later than September 4. Katz, Sapper & Miller will email a confirmation upon receiving each completed survey. If you do not receive a confirmation email within seven (7) days of submission, send a follow-up email to ensure receipt of the completed surveys so that your data is included in the results and you receive a complimentary copy.
5. We STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ALL SNIS practices to complete the joint NERVES & SNIS/SVIN Neurointerventional survey this year. Please remember that participants of the Joint NERVES and SNIS Neurointerventional survey will receive a complimentary report of the survey results. NERVES and SNIS members who do not participate in the joint NERVES and SNIS Neurointerventional Survey and non-members may purchase the reports for $2,000 (members) and $2,500 (non-members).
