Nevada Women’s Philanthropy Grants $500,000 to Bridge Counseling Associates

A $30,000 NWP Founders Gift was awarded to Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation

LAS VEGAS (May 13, 2021) – Nevada Women’s Philanthropy (NWP) members elected to grant $500,000 to Bridge Counseling Associates. The project to be funded is Bridge Child and Youth Community Treatment Center in Clark County to provide evidence-based therapy for children and adolescents at its McLeod Drive campus.

“With the creation of the Bridge Child and Youth Community Treatment Center, our youth will now have a place to be heard and the ability to receive much-needed counseling services,” NWP President Sara Costello said. “This is especially needed given the negative effects of the pandemic over the past year. We are proud to partner with Bridge Counseling to invest in our community’s youth and prepare them for success in the future.”

Bridge Counseling President and Chief Executive Officer David Robeck said they are appreciative and humbled by the opportunity presented by the NWP Impact Grant.

“It will allow the Bridge team to develop additional and improved services for children as well as expand and train the clinical workforce throughout Nevada assuring a positive impact for generations to come,” he said.

The Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation will receive a non-restricted $30,000 NWP Founders Gift.
