TWENTY-FOURTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
12 September 2021

“But who do you say that I am?”
Mark 8:29
SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 ..... NEVER FORGET!
Our Father, On this day, we remember the innocent who lost their lives— and we pay tribute to those who gave their lives so that others might live. We also remember the sacrifices made by our nation’s armed forces to keep us safe. America cherishes their memory and we pray for their families. We will never forget!

Lord, out of this suffering, we resolve to honor every man and woman lost. And we seek their lasting memorial in a safer and more hopeful world.
In your name we pray …. AMEN!
As we prepare to gather for Mass physically or virtually, reading the Sunday Scripture readings in advance will help prepare us in mind and heart to fully participate in the Mass.

Catholics on the MOVE!
COVID is not going to stop us from moving. We will follow all safety precautions and will keep any activity to 10 people or less in enclosed areas. We will gather in person, via zoom, or combination of both, depending on the number of people attending the events. Here are some highlights of what is coming up in the next few months. Please see page 3 of today's bulletin (includes SAVE THE DATES for some upcoming October events). CLICK on page graphic.

October is always a busy month. We celebrate Respect Life and honor our Blessed Mother all month long. We have a special Canonical Coronation on October 10 and the opening of the Synod on October 17, not to mention celebrating our Parish Saint, St. Francis of Assisi, and the Blessing of the Animals, as well as the KOC Octoberfest and the KOC Coats for Kids Appeal and yes, plans are underway for the Children's All-Hallow Carnival!

So much, so exciting! Holy Faith are really "Catholics on the Move"!

Sessions with Fr. Mike Elias "Ask Fr. Mike" begin this Wednesday September 15, at 7pm inside the Church, and will continue every Wednesday. Open to all ... no sign-up needed. This is a great opportunity to come and ask Fr. Mike questions and have conversation on any Wednesday evening.
ALTAR SERVERS: We continue to recruit young children, youth and young adults to serve at our Masses. We need servers at all Masses. Training begins this Sunday, September 12 at 1:00pm inside the Church. Sign up by clicking on graphic below or call the office.

CANONICAL CORONATION OF OUR LADY OF LA LECHE
OCTOBER 10 2021 ... LIVESTREAMED

Holy Faith will be streaming the Canonical Coronation of Our Lady of La Leche for our local community and friends inside the church and if necessary inside the Fr. John M. Phillips Parish Life Center. All are invited to witness this historic event for our Diocese of St. Augustine. Click on link below to learn more.

The Holy Father, Pope Francis, has recognized the importance and sanctity of the Our Lady of La Leche devotion by granting a Canonical Coronation on Sunday, October 10, at 2 pm at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine. This once-in-a-lifetime and completely unique event is an incredible blessing for the Diocese of St. Augustine and the oldest Marian shrine in the United States! While the coronation at the cathedral is by invitation only, the public is invited to participate via live stream.
