In Acts chapter five, the apostles were imprisoned and scolded for sharing the gospel. When they were ultimately freed after having been beaten, the Sadducees demanded that they stop teaching in the name of Jesus. In response to this, Scripture writes "the apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name. Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah." (v. 41-42) The orders of men count as nothing when we are called by God to witness to others. The Bible proclaims that we are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14-16). We are to shine that light as a beacon to others amidst the darkness of this world that they may be saved despite persecution. Below are a few snapshots of how we
have recently been striving to do just that...

Soccer Player Shares Testimony
During one of our weekly Huddles during the month, JJ Vozar from the UK men's soccer team blessed us by sharing his testimony. He discussed how witnessing his coach read his Bible influenced him to pursue a relationship with Jesus and what that has looked like in his life since. What a testament to the influence coaches hold and how much leadership matters. This is why FCA prioritizes ministry with coaches as well as athletes! We want to make disciples who make disciples, and so frequently, impact for athletes starts with their coaches on the field. Thank you for the wonderful reminder, JJ!
| | | February Relationship Study Series | |
Over the past few years our staff have prioritized teachings about Biblical relationships and marriage during the month of February. These Huddles are always very popular and fruitful, so last month we repeated the pattern and hosted a two-week mini-series on the topic. One week featured guest speaker Scott Hatfield, who explained that the key to Christ-centered dating and marriage is self denial and mutual submission. The second session presented two married couples sharing their stories and answering questions from athletes. We are so thankful for the wisdom and insight provided through these men and women during these gatherings and pray that it will lead to even more wisdom in our students as they apply
the Biblical principles taught to their relationships.

Cheerleader Baptized
Rachel Zerega from the UK cheerleading team was baptized on February 15th at Southland Christian Church in the presence of brothers and sisters-in-Christ as well as several teammates and coaches! Jaci King, FCA staff member and discipler of Rachel, had the blessing of baptizing her on this celebratory occasion. Congratulations, Rachel! We are so honored to see you grow in your faith and rejoice with you at this wonderful step you have taken! To God be the glory!

After the conclusion of our fruitful relationship series, we have launched a new series working through select Psalms! We know that these teachings will be a blessing to our athletes and invite you to pray with us over the impact of the upcoming weeks and that students may be sanctified by the wisdom and truth of
God's Word as we study David's writings.
| | Growth of Bryan Station Huddles | | |
Bryan Station High School (right) did not have an FCA chapter a couple of years ago. Two students, Zac and Jack, with a desire to launch the organization and share Jesus with fellow athletes, banded together to start the club during their senior year before graduating. Now, after they have left, the group is still growing and thriving with two school sponsors helping run it. What a blessing and true testament of 1 Timothy 4:12-13 at work! This is why we believe so deeply in the effort of investing in students and equipping and empowering them to lead. Through these two boys many more students to come will have the opportunity to learn about
Jesus and have community through FCA on their campus.
The Bryan Station Middle School chapter (left) is also flourishing! What an incredible opportunity they have to gather now and how wonderful it will be moving forward for them to have the ability to continue in the organization when they get to high school. Please pray for both of these campuses, their leaders, ongoing growth, and the Lord's favor at their schools! May there be many more disciples who make disciples.
| | Asbury University Monthly Huddle | | |
Staff member Victoria "Froggy" joined our team in the fall and covers two college campuses in Central Kentucky, one of which is Asbury University. Since she began working with FCA, she has been investing effort in reestablishing organization presence on this campus first and foremost by forming a leadership team. Through collaboration with these athletes, she has been working hard to structure Huddle meeting patterns. Trying different strategies, this semester they are gathering monthly for Huddles, and seen here is their February event. During this gathering they were able to hand out Asbury FCA apparel and students learned about East Africa mission trip opportunities through the ministry, played games, and heard from guest speaker Graham Duncan (head swim coach). Growth at this school has
been slow but steady, but we are so excited to see how the Lord will
continue to shape its presence and impact! Thank you to the 30+
students who came out for this exciting kick off to FCA this spring!

Woodford County Boys' Basketball
Bug Brown, serves as the Character Coach for the boy's basketball team at one of her campuses--Woodford County High School. Pictured here is her praying over the team before the district championship game that they went on to win. Congratulations, team, we are proud of you! More importantly, we are proud of how you are seeking the Lord!
| | | Evangelism Training at Local Church | | |
Recently, a local church hosted an evangelism training for members and partnered with FCA staff to provide teaching at the event. Jesse Spencer and Audrey Wells, who work with local middle/high schools in our area, were able to share practical guidance and information on how to share the gospel with those in attendance. Through the session, they were also able to invite men and women in the local body to get involved with FCA by serving as Character Coaches for athletic teams in Fayette County schools or by coming to speak to Huddles. This was a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with the body of Christ by including them in our ministry
so that we may better be able to reach every coach and athlete
in the name of Jesus by working together in unity.

May we, like the apostles, disregard the rejection and persecution of this world and the men therein and walk in boldness declaring that Jesus is the Messiah. May we be intentional to not hide our lights, but let them shine before others that the darkness may be overcome (John 1:5). For His glory alone, may
His Kingdom come, forever and ever, amen!

I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in
me may not remain in darkness. (John 12:46)

At this time we would like to take the opportunity to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the following individuals and companies for supporting our ministry by serving as Silver and Gold level Corporate Sponsors
for the 2026 Central Kentucky FCA Victory Night!
