I will never grow weary of finding my postal carrier with a cardboard box from my publishing house in his strong arms. He's kind and delivered those heavy books to our back door. An exciting moment for any author!
Little did I know when I wrote my blog post for my giveaway to celebrate An Amish Christmas Kitchen's release how quickly the season would transition into Autumn in the Pacific Northwest. Just a few days ago I was wearing my new hat and picking out new flowers for the yard. Temperatures hovered in the mid 80s°, but today it's overcast and cool.

The leaves on our new maple tree are changing. And on my morning walk I saw proof positive that school has started: a bright yellow school bus and a flock of children with their parents.
