42nd Elkhart Juried Regional

The 42nd Elkhart Juried Regional Exhibition is a major survey of current trends by artists from 20 northern Indiana counties and 4 southern Michigan counties. This year 199 artists submitted 344 works in all media for the judges’ consideration. The exhibition features 136 works of art by 111 artists.  

Awards presented to artists totaled over $20,000. The judges who selected the 42nd Elkhart Juried Regional exhibition were Karen Bondarchuk, Professor & Area Coordinator of Foundation Art, Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo and Condessa Croninger, Art Director, 20 North Gallery, Toledo, Ohio.

The exhibition will be on view at the Midwest Museum of American Art through Sunday, December 20, 2020.

A Spotlight Exhibit

This spotlight exhibit features thirty never-before-seen works from the museum’s permanent collection. The artwork included in this exhibit ranges from representational to abstract.

Presenting four decades of acquisitions from over 500 sources across the country, the museum's collection features significant artists from the annals of American Art History such as Grant Wood, John Singer Sargent and Andy Warhol. This exhibition is on permanent view throughout the year.
Overbeck Art Pottery
R. Douglas Grant Family Gallery

This historically significant collection of ceramic vases, figurines, tableware, paintings and drawings produced by the Overbeck sisters of Cambridge City, Indiana is on permanent view throughout the year. The contents of this exhibit were generously donated to the Midwest Museum by R. Douglas & Barbara Grant.
