Marketing Lunch and Learn
The team was all smiles at the Marketing & Communications Lunch and Learn due to Chick-fil-A, prizes, and fun info about Syverson Strege’s marketing strategies! They learned how to share posts on Facebook, how to invite people to “like” Syverson Strege’s Facebook page, why they should care about marketing, upcoming events, and why client experience and client care are top marketing priorities.
Cybersecurity Lunch and Learn
The Syverson Strege team had an opportunity to learn more about personal and corporate cybersecurity at our September Lunch and Learn from Tim Stoops, Principal Security Analyst at Access Systems and also a CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker). Tim gave the presentation, “A Day in the Life of a Hacker,” and said phishing is the #1 threat to individuals and ransomware costs businesses more than $75 billion per year.

David Strege contributed his volleyball skills at Maddy’s Classic Volleyball Tournament! Syverson Strege was privileged to sponsor the annual tournament which began in 2007 in support of 3-year-old cancer patient, Maddy Cunningham (now a cancer survivor). All proceeds benefited kids with cancer in Iowa through Children’s Cancer Connection. This is the tournament’s final year after having raised over $234K in 15 years!
