Junior Achievement of Central Iowa |

The Finance Park is for 7th-12th graders who become “an adult for the day” by experiencing personal finance through life scenarios, budgeting, and spending. Junior Achievement (JA) is dedicated to giving young people nationwide the knowledge and skills for economic success.
Some of the Syverson Strege staff have previously volunteered at JA’s Biz Town. We have also sponsored events with JA – The Bowl-a-Thon and Mini-Golf. In 2022, we will be sponsoring the Stock Market Challenge, which will include mentoring to high schoolers as well as a corporate competition.

Syverson Strege held a food drive for the DMARC Food Pantry Network and collected 559 items! Innovation and teamwork led to three putt-putt golf holes at our office and a lively competition between three Syverson Strege employee teams.

Single Parent Provision
Nearly 2,000 single moms and kids enjoyed a memorable and uplifting evening at the Single Parent Provision 10th anniversary Single Moms Christmas Dinner in downtown Des Moines. Syverson Strege is thrilled to have been an event sponsor for this evening to honor single moms with dinner, a program, laughter, and love!

Meals from the Heartland
The mission of Meals from the Heartland is “empowering people to save starving children.” Meals from the Heartland’s packaged meals help feed the hungry throughout the world. Meals are delivered directly to locations in Iowa, the U.S., and around the world — wherever people are undernourished or starving.

Orchard Place Holiday Gift Drive
Syverson Strege adopted 10 children, ages 10-17, for the Orchard Place Holiday Gift Drive. Orchard Place provided each child’s wish list, which consisted of three items to purchase. We then wrapped the gifts and delivered them to Orchard Place.
Orchard Place serves many of the state's most emotionally troubled and helpless children, striving to help them develop strong, promising futures.

They contribute to the community's well-being by serving the mental health, substance use, and educational and juvenile justice needs of children, adolescents, and young adults.
Through generous gifts from individuals and Des Moines businesses, the Holiday Drive goal is to provide gifts to more than 1000 children served by Orchard Place.

We’re joining your doctor, pharmacist, dentist, hairstylist, and many other service providers to put a focus on client care and provide better service!
Beginning January 1, 2022, we will be sending text reminders to clients for their Annual Planning Session (APS) or Investment Review (IR) meetings.
As a client, you don’t need to do anything to activate this service. You will automatically receive a reminder text message a week before your next APS or IR meeting. To confirm your appointment, you will simply reply with “YES” in the text message or “NO” to cancel. If you have any questions, please contact your associate financial planner at 515-225-6000.
