"Eclipse"
- a piece of music which is dedicated to a lady from Ukraine and her daughter, along with a little girl, who lives near my home. I wouldn't have had the chance to meet them if this unnecessary war hadn't started. These vulnerable people need our support, and I hope that we will continue to provide it until circumstances allow them to return safely to their homes. This must represent the other side of an eclipse, revealing the true face of humanity.

 |  | Simonne Draper is an acoustic-classical music composer and guitarist, a member of the Czech Composers Society. After dedicating a significant part of her life to studying law, she made a decisive turn to pursue her true passion - classical and orchestral music composition. She is classically trained in Spanish guitar, started learning to play the guitar at an early age, and later studied with the renowned classical guitar composer Milan Tesař at the Conservatoire in Prague. In 2016, she became a member of the Czech Composers Society. During her music studies at the conservatoire, Simonne used to perform in collaboration with other guitarists in Prague churches and local concert halls. In 2019, her debut album, "Portraits In Guitar," was released under the record label MSR Classics in the USA. The album received positive acclaim from publications such as Fanfare, American Record Guide, or Concertonet, among others, and gained airplay on hundreds of radio stations across the globe, including BBC Radio Kent, Radio Six International, or Classic Praha FM. Music from that album has also been featured on various established radio shows such as the "Mike Rogers Show" or "World's Best Instrumentals on Lively Lounge with Tony Currie," among others. As an active classical guitar player, she also collaborates with award-winning various artists who present her music at concert venues and festivals. She likes to explore other genres of music and recently collaborated with British accomplished musician Jon Kennedy, who created a remix of my composition "Eclipse" in the style of chillout and downtempo music, later submitted for 66th Grammy Awards® in the category "Best Remixed Recording."
