#BuyLocalVermont is a program created by the State of Vermont that uses CARES Act funding to aid Vermont businesses and residents struggling in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

On Sept. 8, 2020, the State of Vermont will start offering residents first come, first served $30 Neighborhood Gift Cards to spend at local businesses. When a resident activates their e-gift card, they’ll be matched with local Vermont businesses where they can use their funds.

The #BuyLocalVermont program aims to bring in the foot traffic needed to quickly increase sales for restaurants, retail stores, entertainment and performing arts venues, lodging and tourism related businesses.
