Bermuda Beneficial Ownership – Access Changes Under Review

Bermuda is considering changes to how company ownership information can be accessed. Today, this information is mainly limited to authorities, but proposed updates could allow certain third parties to request access if they have a valid reason. The aim is to increase transparency and support efforts to prevent financial crime—while still protecting personal data.

Access would remain restricted and granted only on a case-by-case basis.

These potential changes may impact future due diligence and compliance processes. What this means for you: While nothing has changed yet, businesses may see increased information requests or enhanced transparency requirements in the future.



CNMI - All Commonwealth government offices in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands remain closed through May 6, 2026, due to the impact of Super Typhoon Sinlaku. Processing delays may occur during this period. We will continue to share updates through our social media channels as additional information becomes available. We extend our thoughts and well wishes to our friends, colleagues, and communities throughout the CNMI during this time and hope everyone remains safe.

USVI Annual Report Filing Annual Reports in the United States Virgin Islands are due by June 30, 2026. Discounted filing rates are available for payments received on or before Monday, May 11, 2026. Please contact our team for assistance with timely filing and compliance support.

Texas - All Annual Franchise Tax filings in Texas are due by May 15, 2026.

If you require assistance preparing or submitting your filing, our team is available to help ensure your entity remains in good standing.

Delaware - Annual LLC report fees in Delaware are due on or before June 1, 2026. To avoid penalties or late fees, we encourage clients to begin the filing process early. Our team is available to assist with all required filings and compliance needs.
