SPRING FAIR INFORMATION
2019 Spring Fair
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

A hearty thanks to all the families who attended the Butler Spring Fair.  Through your participation in this family event, the PTO can fund another year of programming, events, and support for our school and students.

We'd like to express our sincere appreciation for the many parents, teachers, and South and Unami students who gave up valuable weekend time to volunteer at the Fair.  Without the partnership of hundreds of volunteers, an event of this scale would not be possible.  Thanks to all who contributed in other ways as well: donating basket or fun jar items, cakes, bidding on silent auction items, etc.

Thanks to everyone who donated your outgrown children’s books. All left over books were donated to Pennypacker Elementary School in Philadelphia.

Thank you to Mr. Funseth, Mr. Brosious, Mrs. McCreary, Mrs. Wilkes, Mrs. Pereira, and the custodians for all their help. The whole Butler community worked together to provide this fabulous family event that generates lots of fun while supporting our school. Butler Bears are awesome!

Thank you to our game sponsors:  CraftSource, Inc., Ameriprise , and Wes Litigation

YEARBOOK INFO - due March 31
yearbook
Dear Sixth Grade Parents,

Get your pictures in the yearbook! The Yearbook Staff invites parents to submit photos for the yearbook. If you've got great photos of current 6th graders at school events, we'd like to see them. Our photographers can't be everywhere. Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have. Photos can be from this year, or years past at Butler, but please limit your submission to your best 10 photos. Please make sure photos are clear, and were taken at Butler or a Butler event.

Here is how you can submit photos online:
  • If it does not automatically log you into the site, enter username: 412663682
  • Browse to select the photo(s) you wish to upload.
  • Enter information about the photo and provide contact information in case the staff needs additional information.
  • Click "Save Details".

It's that easy! Submit your photos today! The last day to submit photos is 03/31/2019.

Thank you, and enjoy the rest of the school year!

Sincerely,
Yearbook Adviser and the 2019 Yearbook Staff.

The Yearbook Staff will review all photos and determine final yearbook content. We cannot guarantee that all submissions can be used in the book.

directory
An updated version of our Butler Elementary School Directory will be posted to our  Butler PTO Facebook page . The updated link will also be posted to the Butler PTO website  here   shortly. This is a password-protected document.  For security, the password for the directory will be sent separately via email

The directory has two tabs; one for family information and one with class listings. To display a list for a particular class, click on the drop down arrow next to the teacher name. Under the Search bar, uncheck “Select All” and then check the box next to a teacher’s name to display just the students in that particular class.   If you have any questions or need to change any information, please email  ButlerESPTO@gmail.com .

Thank you to  Cristin Edwards  for all of your hard work on our directory!
ARE YOU CLEARED TO VOLUNTEER?
Our school encourages and welcomes parent involvement. Among the opportunities available to volunteers are assisting with classroom parties, chaperoning field trips, helping in the lunch room, tutoring students, and helping in the classroom.

Pennsylvania law requires all persons having direct contact with school children obtain background checks and clearances. Click here for the required clearances, along with links to the state’s websites, which may be found on the CBSD website.
