Our committees play a vital role in advancing the association's strategic priorities, strengthening member engagement, and ensuring the voice of Nebraska REALTORS® is represented across the state. We encourage members from all backgrounds, business models, and regions of Nebraska to apply and help move Nebraska REALTORS® forward.

Committee meetings take place primarily on Zoom calls throughout the year. If you would like to learn more about specific meeting schedules, please email us at info@nebraskarealtors.com.

A big thank you to everyone who participated in our RPAC Phone Bank on July 9th! Whether you made calls, answered the call, or invested in RPAC, your support has helped raise $24,231 so far to protect our industry and keep REALTORS®' voices heard.

We're still accepting investments through July 24, with the prize drawing on July 27, as we work toward our $40,000 goal!

There's still time to join in on the raffle with more winners than ever when you invest by July 24th!

For each $25 investment made during the phone bank, you will be entered into a drawing to win grocery or gas gift cards in the following amounts:

21ST CENTURY ROAD TO HOUSING ACT UPDATE

WASHINGTON (July 11, 2026) – Shannon McGahn, executive vice president and chief advocacy officer of the National Association of REALTORS®, issued the following statement after the bipartisan 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act was enacted into law:

"On behalf of more than 1.4 million REALTORS®, we thank the members of Congress and the Administration who came together to advance legislation that will benefit families and communities in every congressional district and ZIP code across the country. The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act reflects years of bipartisan work and a shared commitment to addressing one of America's most pressing challenges. Over the last 21 months, REALTORS® from every state partnered with NAR's advocacy team to make housing a national priority.

DOC STAMP INCREASE EFFECTIVE JULY 19

Documentary Stamp Tax Increase Takes Effect July 19

Beginning July 19, 2026, Nebraska's Real Estate Transfer Tax will increase from $2.32 to $3.32 per $1,000 of property value.


If you haven't already, update your closing worksheets, net sheets, transaction calculators, and any forms or templates that calculate documentary stamp tax to reflect the new rate for transactions closing on or after July 19.
