Focus on Innovative Practices

One of the greatest strengths of any consortium is the ability for each participant to learn from the others. The iSOSY member states have long supported one another with ideas, experiences, and valuable feedback in what continues to be a great example of true interstate collaboration. With that in mind, I am very happy to offer a new resource: an in-depth focus on innovative practices in different member states. My hope is that this highlight of an individual state's challenges, strategies, and outcomes will encourage each of us to pursue the goals of boosting the opportunities of our OSY and at-risk secondary students with renewed enthusiasm and optimism.

My thanks to Colorado for volunteering to be spotlighted in this inaugural issue and I look forward to featuring more innovative practices in the near future.
