Shoelace Aglets for 550 Paracord
Make shoe and boot laces with 550 paracord. Add metal aglets to the ends of the cord to give them a professional finish.

These metal aglets are approximately 7/8" long. They work with 550 and 650 paracord.

Simply place the cord in the aglet and carefully crimp shut with pliers. The "teeth" on the sides and bottom will help keep the cord inside the aglet.

This project uses approximately 3 feet of paracord. The Turk's Head Knot works great as a neckerchief slide for a scout neckerchief, as a fancy napkin ring, or anything else you might want a decorative loop around. Make it a little bigger to use with a shemagh or make it out of 1/8" bungee cord for a stretchy version (diy hair scrunchy).
