HOME RUN DERBY!

(Vail, Colo.) - The Vail Recreation District is excited to host the first-ever Home Run Derby! Sign up at www.vailrec.com/register for this fun event, taking place on July 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Homestake Peak School baseball field in EagleVail.


The VRD Home Run Derby will showcase not only the sheer strength and technique

of the players but also the camaraderie and friendly competition that defines the spirit

of the game.


TOURNAMENT DETAILS

This single-elimination tournament will include both a Women's and a Men's league with 16 players maximum in each. Every batter will get three minutes to hit as many home runs as possible. Please take a look at the rules for details. The winning male and female will each receive a custom t-shirt from Trick Threads and a cash prize.

Cost to participate is $10 for a VRD league player and $20 for a non-VRD league player. Spots are limited; register online at www.vailrec.com/register.
