A Night of Roaring Twenties Fun at the Building Industry Association of Southern California's Centennial All Regional Gala



On November 10th, the Building Industry Association of Southern California (BIASC) celebrated its centennial year in grand style with the Centennial All Regional Gala at the Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Center. The event brought together all four BIASC chapters for an evening of 1920s prohibition fun, marking the culmination of a year-long celebration of the association's 100th anniversary.

GA Alert - Rancho Cucamonga Development Impact Fee Update

BIA Members,

Please note, the City of Rancho Cucamonga has proposed a $5k per unit increase to their transportation development impact fee (DIF) to $17,358 per unit as noted in the fee schedule below. The city has also proposed an update to their Building and Safety User fees. Please click the button below to view the staff report for details on the DIF update and also click the link to review the DIF calculation beginning on page 87. 

The fees are scheduled for consideration at the upcoming City Council meeting on 12/6 and would be effective on 1/4. BIA has requested additional details and discussions with city officials are ongoing. Please advise if you have a project under review and would be subject to the transportation DIF update. Thank you.
