On two consecutive nights during the last week of November, parts of I-435 will be closed for bridge girder setting on U.S. 69. Closures will be in effect both nights but will slightly vary. The following locations will be impacted:
- Eastbound I-435 at U.S. 69 – fully closed and partial lane closures
- Westbound I-435 at U.S. 69 – fully closed and partial lane closures
- Eastbound I-435 ramp to northbound U.S. 69 – fully closed
- Northbound U.S. 69 ramp to westbound I-435 – fully closed
- Westbound I-435 ramp to southbound U.S. 69 – fully closed
- 103rd Street ramp to southbound U.S. 69 – fully closed
Detours will be marked. Eastbound traffic will be directed south on U.S. 69 to College Blvd. Traffic will then head east on College Blvd. to northbound U.S. 69 back to eastbound I-435.
Westbound traffic will be routed to northbound U.S. 69 to 103rd Street. Traffic will then be directed westbound on 103rd Street to southbound U.S. 69 back to westbound I-435.
103rd Street traffic will be routed to westbound I-435 to the Quivira Road exit. Drivers will be routed southbound on Quivira Road back to eastbound I-435.
