THRASHER BRAVES BAD ROADS IN NEW AD
‘Shoot, maybe we could get somewhere in West Virginia if we just fixed the dang roads.’

Charleston, W.Va. — Republican candidate for Governor Woody Thrasher is literally driving home the need for conservative solutions to the state’s problems in his latest campaign ad, “Better Roads.”

Thrasher, a civil engineer, takes everyone along for his car ride in North-Central West Virginia. His frustration with not only the shoddy patchwork and crumbling infrastructure but also the lack of economic opportunities is familiar to nearly everyone in the state.

“We all want to get somewhere in West Virginia,” Thrasher says in the ad. “We all want opportunities. We want our children to stay here in West Virginia and have a brighter future. And is it too much to ask? We want conservative government policies that help pave the way.
“And, shoot, maybe we could get somewhere in West Virginia if we just fixed the dang roads.”

“Better Roads” is the fourth ad for the candidate who announced his campaign in April.
