I am excited to announce my album "Seasoned" drop release today with Gumbo Nouveau! It is now available on all digital streaming platforms.
Members of the band include Paul Downie, drums, percussion, and vocals; Bert Harris, bass; Jocko MacNelly, guitar, and oud; Laurent Bass, sax, and clarinet.
Philadelphia based, Gumbo Nouveau’s music is rooted in the traditions of New Orleans and Caribbean jazz, incorporating elements of reggae, calypso, samba and more. The album features 13 tracks including original compositions by all four members of the band as well as a new take on a classic Caribbean folk song and a live track from one of the group’s popular Harry Belafonte covers.
