Laird Connectivity have launched four new antennas: The HCF69273xN low profile indoor/outdoor antenna, Gar and Barracuda —two new MIMO vehicular antennas, and the CMD69423P 2-port MIMO ceiling antenna. You can also checkout the overview of the Revie Flex antenna.
The Laird LTE HCF69273 omni-directional antenna is a tough low-profile antenna for outdoor or indoor applications. This antenna provides frequency agility, low visibility, wide bandwidth and a low angle radiation pattern that is superior to traditional gain antennas in most applications.

The HCF69273 antenna is available in various industry-standard mounting configurations including a threaded permanent stud mount model for vandal resistant mounting on brackets, panels, ceilings, or any other kind of housing.

Key Features include:
  • Multi-band operation: 698-960 MHz/1690-2700 MHz
  • Meets IP67 protection rating for dust tight seal and temporary water immersion
  • Permanent mount with coaxial pigtail is ideal for radios within a metal enclosure
  • Conformance to RoHS
The Gar and Barracuda low-rofile multiport/multiband antennas provide an excellent solution for Public Safety, Transportation and Aftermarket Fleet applications.

Gar (VFP69383B22JN)  is a 5-port antenna that comes configured for 2-port MIMO operation over the 3G/4G/ISM/CBRS bands, and 2-port MIMO operation over the low/high frequency Wi-Fi bands. The additional 5th port provides an active antenna for enabling GNSS global navigation services (which includes GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and other regional systems).
Barracuda (VFH69383B23JW)  is a 6-port antenna has the same form factor and capabilities as Gar, but with an additional 3rd port for MIMO operation over the low/high frequency Wi-Fi bands.

Key Features include:
  • 5G Ready
  • Configured for FirstNet MIMO operation
  • Single-hole mounting reduces vehicle damage and installation costs
  • Attractive IP67 low profile aerodynamic housing
  • Multiband/MIMO operation with GNSS navigation

Gar and Barracuda antennas not only increase signal reliability and data throughput but enable the possibility for vehicles to function as communication hubs. Both antennas are 5G ready, aerodynamic, and ruggedly reliable, and are the only vehicular antennas in the industry to come with a 5-year product warranty.
The Revie Flex (EFF692SA3S) is a flexible PCB antenna for use in LTE CAT M1 and NB-IoT devices. The antenna is optimized for use when mounted to plastic via the supplied adhesive backing. This antenna operates within 698 - 875 MHz and 1710 – 2500 MHz with excellent radiation performance. The high efficiency ensures reliable connection in a variety of integration environments.

Features and Benefits:
  • Ground plane independent - For design simplicity
  • Frequency Optimized - Made for LTE Cat M1 and NB-IoT
  • Wide bandwidth - Pairs with all radios in specified frequency range
  • Excellent efficiency - Greater than 51%
  • Adhesive-backed - Easy peel-and-stick integration
  • Customizable - Many connectors and cable lengths available
The CMD Series are indoor broadband 2-port MIMO omnidirectional ceiling mount antennas designed to provide pattern coverage that is optimized for indoor requirements in 3G, 4G and 5G networks. The individual antenna elements are designed with linear H/V-polarization components providing optimized radiation coverage and MIMO performance.

Features and Benefits:
  • Mounts directly and easily to ceiling tile
  • Two radiating elements optimized for indoor MIMO applications
  • Low cross correlation between radiating elements
  • Low passive intermodulation
  • Full Plenum rating allows for above-ceiling installations
