Mentor and Muse: Jinchul Kim and His Protégés


Featuring artwork by Jinchul Kim and 20 former Salisbury University students (Sarah Means, Jee Hwang, Kenneth Brown, Jessica Cross, Ally Morgan, Leah Lewman, Petra Bernstein, Leslie Belloso, Kelcie Mack, Jordan Suber, Kee Lee, David Simpson, Jessica Schlegel, Maggie Delaney, Marley Massey, Reeves Dark, Lola Panco, Arielle Tesoriero, Megan Burak, and Dshon McCarty).


The exhibit highlights Kim’s impact as a professor of Art at Salisbury University since 1996 and shows how his focus on observation, memory, and imagination continues to inspire new generations of artists.

Annual Beverly Bassford Juried Art Show

 

Celebrate the legacy of Beverly Bassford, whose love of the arts continues through this annual juried exhibition. This year's show is juried by Dr. Marie (Nikki) Pareja, Assistant Professor at Salisbury University, who selected the exhibiting artists and award winners. Cash prizes are generously sponsored in part by the Bassford family.

Jimena DeChant


DeChant celebrates the beauty of the natural world through color, expressive brushwork, and organic forms. Her paintings capture the quiet moments often overlooked—from blooming flowers and sunlit landscapes to the peaceful emotions found in stillness. Through her work, Jimena invites viewers to slow down, look closer, and rediscover the beauty woven into everyday life.

SCHWAB SPOTLIGHT GALLERY:

Robby Chin Eastern Shore Gyotaku LLC


Discover the traditional Japanese art of Gyotaku through the work of Robby Chin. Using paint and handmade Washi paper, Chin creates life-sized fish prints inspired by Maryland's Eastern Shore and its rich maritime heritage. His exhibition celebrates the beauty of local species while honoring the stories and traditions connected to the region's waters.

FELBER ARTISAN SHOWCASE:

Kacie Neeb


Kacie Neeb is a multidisciplinary artist and Gallery Director at the Art League of Ocean City whose work celebrates creativity in many forms. While best known for her photography and visual storytelling, her Artisan Showcase features a playful collection of handcrafted flower magnets, beaded jewelry, and beaded plants. Inspired by color, nature, and everyday joy, Neeb's work invites viewers to appreciate the beauty found in life's small details.
