Athearn Announces The HO Scale Genesis EMD SDP45 @ NMRA 2013

This brand new model includes all of the recent features Athearn has brought to the Genesis line of locomotives. The first release includes road numbers for Southern Pacific, Great Northern & Erie Lakawana. Each road number is available in DCC Ready & DCC w/Sound versions and features prototypically coorect details to the specific railroad.

Kato Adds HO Scale Amtrak 40th Anniversary Scheme P42's

Following up on the recent release of the first of the new Kato HO Scale p42 Genesis locomotives, Kato has announced the release of two Amtrak 40th Anniversary Schemes. Both will be available in Standard DC and two DCC w/Sound versions.

BLMA Boxes Up New HO Scale ATSF Bx-166 62ft Double-Door Box Cars

This is a unique prototype car built in house by Santa Fe exclusively for use in the transport of beer. 300 were built in 1974 and went on to long service lives. The first release of this care includes 24 road numbers so no one should feel that can't get enough.

Broadway Limited Imports Schedules HO Scale Wabash Bluebird Passenger Cars
|

The Wabash Bluebird was a very successful and striking train with all the benefits of modern passenger service of the time. It was so successful that it lasted until the dawn of Amtrak. This release includes six cars, a baggage car, dining car, three dome coaches and an dome observation car.
