A Quarter Blue SWOT meeting

 8:30 am to 10:30 am - Friday, May 11, 2018

The Barnabas Group is the only collaboration of leaders dedicated to maximizing ministry potential by meeting nonprofit challenges with business perspectives to advance Kingdom work .

You're invited to apply to participate in our next SWOT meeting.

A Quarter Blue ( http://www.aquarterblue.org/ ) draws its name from the statistic that a quarter of children will be left blue from the trauma of sexual assault.   Historically focused on issues related to childhood sexual abuse, they've recently adopted a broader mission statement as a Trauma Recovery Center that "offers therapeutic and practical support to children, teens, and adults who have been affected by crimes.  AQB also offers education programs to enlighten families how to protect and empower their children, in addition to equip professionals in effective interventions for victims of crime."

Founder, Martha Nix Wade, was a child actor (Serena Burton on The Waltons, Janice Barnes on Days of Our Lives).  She also endured years of sexual abuse at the hands of a church leader.  She believes that educating, protecting, and empowering children and adults is the greatest way to use her life experience to help others.

The  BIG QUESTION  we'll address at this SWOT is:

How should A Quarter Blue effectively market its expanded trauma recovery services to Christian and non-Christian audiences to open the doors for education and healing with a topic that is "taboo"?
