SPRC is pleased to announce that Alex Jones has recently been hired as the Director of Music. Alex is a Winthrop University graduate and choir director at Dorman High School Freshman Campus. In addition to teaching, Alex sings and serves on the North Greenville Choral Arts board and was the children’s choir director at Nazareth Presbyterian Church in Moore, SC. He is an active member of the Presbyterian Association of Musicians (PAM) and the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). Alex is currently pursuing a Masters of Music Education from the University of South Carolina. Welcome, Alex!
A school supply drive has been scheduled for July 16 - August 13. Donations will be shared between NBUMC members Lisa Silver and Megan Coffey Stowell and teachers at Libertas Academy, the public charter school being built next door. Thank you for supporting this drive as your budget allows!

Musician, Speaker, and Author David LaMotte will join us for an evening of songs and stories on September 16 at 7 pm. David's most recent album, Still, remained in the top 20 for six months and features the song "September Me", which was the number one song on Folk Radio in September of 2022. This is a night not to be missed!
Tickets are $30 each for those over 10 and children 10 and under are free.

Sharing praises of thanksgiving this week for the blessing of church growth. 11 new members have joined our faith family so far this year, and we are also seeing visitors each month in worship. To God be the glory!
