Hello, Members,
I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. This has truly been an incredible journey.
It all started back in 2018 when I moved here from Florida with a lot of dreams and hopes for my future. I was given an amazing opportunity at Club Green Meadows, and little did I know that this place would become so much more than just a job.
In 2020, I left the club to pursue new challenges and continue growing professionally. Then, in 2022, I was blessed with the opportunity to come back in a bigger role, helping grow our tennis and pickleball programs. During that time, I also found an incredible group of friends through golf, tennis, pickleball, and before I knew it, this club had become my second home.
The friendships, the laughs, the memories, and the support I’ve received from all of you are things I will carry with me forever. You have been so much more than coworkers or fellow members; you have become family.
Because of that, this has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. But life is about continuing to grow, and I’ve accepted an exciting new opportunity that will allow me to take the next step in my career.
The good news is… you’re not getting rid of me!
You’ll still see me around the club. I’ll still be golfing, playing tennis, pickleball, and padel, working out in the gym, and hopefully sharing a drink or a meal with many of you. I hope this isn’t goodbye; it’s simply “see you soon.”
I also want to sincerely thank our General Manager Heather for believing in me, giving me the opportunity to come back, and trusting me to help grow this amazing club. I will always be grateful for that chance.
Today, I leave proud of everything we accomplished together. I gave this club everything I had, and in return, I gained something even more valuable: lifelong friendships and memories that I’ll cherish forever.
Thank you for believing in me, supporting me, challenging me, and making me feel like I belonged. No matter where life takes me, Club Green Meadows will always hold a special place in my heart, and all of you will always be part of my family.
This isn’t goodbye. It’s “see you on the golf course, the tennis court, the pickleball court, the padel court… or at the bar.”
With all my gratitude,
Carlos Gomez
