Winter is Upon Us!

The Winter Storm of 2024 was one for the record books! Per the National Weather Service, New Berlin officially received 16.5" of snow in the latest snow storm. The city endured a significant amount of snow, ice, frigid temperatures and loss of power on a large scale. But looking for the positive is easy to do in a city this great! We want to give a special thanks to DPW, Emergency Management, Fire and Police Departments that worked around the clock to collectively keep this City moving as smoothly and safely as possible. But we also want to thank everyone that participated in New Berlin Neighbor Check and went above and beyond to help others. By taking the time to check on your neighbors and loved ones, you demonstrated the caring spirit that makes New Berlin a great place to live!

Congratulations to our January

Please clear snow from Hydrants

When seconds count in a fire, burying a hydrant could mean the difference on whether or not firefighters can quickly get the upper hand on a blaze. Please be sure to clear all snow around fire hydrants as well as storm drains in your yard.
